-----------------

Sorry!  The only excitment around here was keeping up with the grandkids.  Not very exciting, but somewhat exhausting.  Hope to hear what others did!     Joanne Roberts Berridge

Our "special" for this summer was selling our home in Grove, finding one in Bartlesville, and making the move. "Downsizing" was our goal and we did it!!!. Now for a garage sale to get rid of more "stuff" that is
useless. Hope this is the last move until our daughters move us to "the home".

AMERICAN KENNEL CLUB CHAMPION
CHEREED'S THE INTIMIDATOR

Named  after the late Dale Earnhardt.   Actually he was born just before the Intimidators death.   Gater as we call him
has a champion son and will have more champion kids as they start to be shown. Needless to say  I  am very proud of him.. He has been "my buddy" since day  one. Gator and I have been busy all summer. We have a litter of his kids....here now.. (all but one sold in advance)

Howdy there y'all

Saw my surgeon yesterday and my back surgery will be: Fri.   Nov. 14.    Will be in  the hosp. until either
Mon or Tue. The MRI found a lot more problems than had been anticipated. Like he is going to be playing up and
down my spine like a piano.   Have about 8 vertebrae that are blocking the way causing all of my numbness in my feet and legs etc.    He will just clean them out.. and combine Lumbar 4 and 5. It will take a lot of prayers to get this
kid over the hump. will keep you posted.

TO:  DHS Class of 1958

It was great to see everyone at the class reunion in August 2008. I meant to get out a short e-mail sooner, but broke my right foot in four places shortly after getting back home in early September.  I heal fast so it is almost done...now in a boot...soon back to a shoe.

Hope to see everyone in August 2013.
God Bless All!!   God Bless Our Troops!!

Hi Ann,

Cecil Smith and I were exchanging e=mails the other day----we do almost daily.  We
were best friends in High School...and he was my best man in 66..   I was attempting
to show him that my memory had not faded away---and we were kicking old memory lane ideas
around to prove that we did not have alzheimers..      I mentioned your black and yellow---55 and his red and white 55
(originally saddle and white) which he got a few months after we graduated.   He remembered the black and
yellow well---and I reminded him of his 55....for which he attempted to take off the mufflers and pipes with a hammer and only succeeded in bloodying his knuckles and wearing out his vocabulary of  terse words.

Do nothing you do not wish to have remembered by someone...

Good morning...!!!!!!!!!
We  have much to be Thankful for this Holiday.   Went to my ortho-specialist, (the back doc) yesterday.   Two more x=rays.  He says we are sailing along.

FROM  SURGERY OF 11-14-09 ..  OVER 8 HRS.. Sailing along is translated: Your next appointment is Dec 23, and you will lift nothing heavier than a fork  in the interim. (I've lost 10 pounds in the last 10 days.... 27 pounds this year....hospital food deserves every miserable joke it  was   EVER the butt of.
After exam yesterday -- Pastor Dave  and I celebrated with the biggest Burrito on the menu .....sinful..
YOU WILL NOT DRIVE FOR ATLEAST 6 WEEKS. YOU WILL WALK 5 MINUTES TODAY WITH WALKER....AND ADD ONE MINUTE TO IT   EACH DAY UNTIL 12-23. TRANSLATED.........    I am looking forward to Easter....2009..
Cant go to church for some weeks to come. IF it lasts over  1 hour,.  Pastor Dave witnessed  this statement..
The sun is shining....it wll be warm again today....Glad i have a lot of reading to do.
My golf playing partner.....friend.....(and pastor ) put the arm on Tulsa Bone and Joint for a pair of their best athletic trunks. Make him tell you that story.... My Dr. stared at him....like he was a candidate for a laughing academy...   For what we have/will pay......the trunks ought to be gold etched.

  1. Hello, Class of 58. I thought I would let you all know that Paula Jean Schoolcraft passed away Feb. 10 in Edmond. Her funeral was on Feb. 14, she would have liked that. Anyway, she always spoke highly of Enid and had all her old "Quills" around the house. I looked through them after her death to find pictures for her memorial. Ultimately, I gave them to my dad as he attended Enid High as well and wanted to have them.

Here is a link to her obituary.

Copy that into your browser if you cannot link directly if you wish.
