William O. "Bill" Green, only child of W.O. Green, Jr. and Audine Wright Green was born January 7, 1940, and passed from this life March 18, 2020. Bill graduated from Enid High School, Enid, Oklahoma and earned his undergraduate and his Juris Doctorate degrees from the University of Oklahoma. He served in the U. S. Airforce, including service in Vietnam as staff judge advocate. Dill started a private law practice in Enid before becoming a district judge for the State of Oklahoma. He was a member of the Oklahoma Benchbook Committee who wrote the Oklahoma Criminal Benchbook.
Before retirement he worked in environmental law for a corporation. Bill's love of art and creativity were evident in his music, community theatre roles, and oil paintings.
He used his gift of encouragement to lift up family, friends, and strangers. His desire for all individuals to feel valued was rooted in his deep faith in Christ.
Surviving Bill are his wife of 51 years, Mary Bingham Green, and his three sons, Matthew B. Green (Melissa Thomas - fiancé), Norman, OK; Mason A. Green (Paula), Cumming, GA; Aaron W. Green, Edmond, OK; grandchildren, Kailie, Brady. And Eden Green; Savannah Green; and Sydney and Griffin Sergot.
Bill was very proud of his family.
