For what's going to be new

Enid's downtown Renaissance Project

News From Reed Keffer

My health is improving…my R. ankle that was operated on is now improving…It was a slow process.  Particularly when on July 4 weekend a big screw 2 inches long and 3/16 inch in dia. backed through the skin on my heel.  There were 5 screws used in the surgery.  Of March 7 my surgeon I am told said he had to literally rebuild my ankle.

I was very fortunate…a good friend and member of my church is an RN BSN..and she came in on her day off and did my complete prep.  She was able to explain to Cher what had happened.  Of course I will always have Parkinsons …I take 2 meds to try to control it.  As far as I know it is not fatal.
I don't want to sound morbid…but have we lost any since Chuck Crites??
I am very fortunate…Cher and I will be married 46 years on Jan 8.  Just retired as a dog show judge after 27 years.  Just received my certificate..as a Judge Emeritus in the American Kennel Club…and friends had it professionally framed.  It is beautiful.

Stay well.

Reed Keffer to get Heart Procedure

GOOD EARLY MORNING TO ALL !!
Don't know quite what to call this procedure but the purpose is to eliminate my atrial fibrillation. That means to get the top half of the heart running in time with the bottom half.

SCHEDULE

Monday September 26: Enter St. John's Methodist Hospital for all kinds of pre-testing etc.

Tuesday September 27 Procedure performed

Wednesday September 28 I guess they will be watching me to see if my motor is running in time.

Failure to perform this procedure would result in an increased possibility of my heart throwing a clot----and bye bye Reed.

your prayers would be greatly appreciated.

Dr. Milton is in charge of the Rhythm section of St Johns...that doesn't mean music. I am running 98% out of time.. That is not good. Thank You

Reed

How Long's It Been?

Since we had 13" of snow or close to it. Well if you don't live in Enid you probably heard on the news we had that much when we woke up yesterday morning. I went out today and shot a few photos of the snow piles. (I know if you live on the East Coast or Colorado you are laughing but you got to remember how much snow we are famous for).

I thought you might like to see the artists renderings of the new changes at good ole EHS. Below is the outdoor plaza and for more pictures of lobby, library, auditorium, etc, here are more pictures.

This rendering features an outdoor plaza area for EHS that will incorporate the
