Happy Retirement, Jerry Long
I want to say "Have a great retirement Jerry Long!" Jerry retired today after 43 (of the 48 years the camp has been held - the longest running camp of its kind in the USA) of working with the Enid Baseball Camp. I also want to say to Bill Mayberry and his staff, that once again they had a great camp and all the boys had a wonderful time. They not only learn the basics of baseball but the traditions that go along with the game. The David Allen Memorial Ballpark is an outstanding facility and Enid can feel very proud of it and the people who run it. P.S. Jerry will still drive a bus when a team needs to go some place.

Renovations at EHS
They had an open house at the High School last night for people to see all the new renovations. Take a look. This is a short one, may get a longer one later. The photos of students in the brown frames are the 1930s. Ours in the wall pages are still like they were.

Inside Convention Hall
Can you believe this used to be the basketball court at Convention Hall? All new inside on all 4 floors. The tv screen is temporary for the grand opening yesterday. They kept the old stage. There are 2 ballrooms, one here and another on a floor above. Lots of new rooms for different functions.
Sunday, November 18, 2012

today from 2:00pm to 5:00pm and will include free food and drinks,
