GOOD EARLY MORNING TO ALL !!
Don't know quite what to call this procedure but the purpose is to eliminate my atrial fibrillation. That means to get the top half of the heart running in time with the bottom half.
SCHEDULE
Monday September 26: Enter St. John's Methodist Hospital for all kinds of pre-testing etc.
Tuesday September 27 Procedure performed
Wednesday September 28 I guess they will be watching me to see if my motor is running in time.
Failure to perform this procedure would result in an increased possibility of my heart throwing a clot----and bye bye Reed.
your prayers would be greatly appreciated.
Dr. Milton is in charge of the Rhythm section of St Johns...that doesn't mean music. I am running 98% out of time.. That is not good. Thank You
Reed

How Long's It Been?
Since we had 13" of snow or close to it. Well if you don't live in Enid you probably heard on the news we had that much when we woke up yesterday morning. I went out today and shot a few photos of the snow piles. (I know if you live on the East Coast or Colorado you are laughing but you got to remember how much snow we are famous for).

Remember Tom Hays? - he's an author now

Here is my book!!!!!!
TWISTED BY THE WIND - WestBow Press
This book is destined to become a best seller (to date) for this author. A collection of stories and words of wisdom, with a fair amount of humor added, this book chronicles a philosophical spirit developed on the plains of Oklahoma, the Arizona desert, Nashville and wine country California.

Former Enid Elementary Students
If you want to see what your old Junior High might look like the next time you are home, check this out:
Waller Renovations/Construction
also you might want to see what the new elementary school, Prairie View, way west part of Enid, will look like.
This month, the City of Enid generously donated Gore Park (the Armory site) to EPS so it could be home to the new Garfield Elementary School (Replace with new 74,000 square-foot school.). Additionally, the City of Enid traded Enid Public Schools the south parking lot of Selby Stadium for the district's land at Lahoma Courts Park, which is located near one of the city's fire stations.
Adams Elementary is getting a new cafeteria.
I hope you all have a really great Thanksgiving!!!

Bartlesville ends Enid's season
November 6, 2010
The Enid News and Eagle Sat Nov 06, 2010, 12:58 ABARTLESVILLE — — A football season, so full of promise, ended in bitter disappointment for the Enid Plainsmen (6-4, 4-3) Friday night as the Bartlesville Bruins (7-3, 5-2) thumped them 28-9, knocking Enid completely out of the playoff picture.
The Plainsmen’s loss, combined with wins by Bixby over Sand Springs (48-35) and Owasso over Ponca City (38-7), put the finishing touches on Enid’s spiraling playoff aspirations. An Enid win would have secured the No. 2 seed in District 6A-4 and a home playoff game against Norman.
